As part of JEM’s work, we’re fortunate to sometimes be touched by moving stories of courageous men, women and children who have defied the odds, stood up for what they believe in, or set and achieved a far-reaching goal that has proved stereotypes wrong and positively transformed those around them.
In many ways, these are the very people we all aspire to be. Unique individuals whom provoke us to think more about what we can do, what we can become, and how we can reach our potential.
Given my interest in story telling, my latest undertaking is now to share these powerful, personal stories through a series of short, uplifting social impact documentaries.
Through these thought-proving, heartwarming films, my hope is to celebrate the spirit of these un-sung heroes and, in doing so, inspire the world with their goodness.
SHORT FILMS, BIG IMPACT
Working light and fast, most of my films are shot using a simple handheld camera or smartphone.
Rather than stage scenes, my style is impromptu and off the cuff. Fuss free, it’s often just me and my camera instinctively capturing humble, yet striking moments.
