DESIGNER
My work in the area of garment designing has grown more varied over time.
Interestingly, my first collection was in sportswear. As an avid horse rider, I spotted a gap in market for warm weather riding gear. It led to me designing a line of ladies equestrian tops for warmer climates.
Since then, I’ve expanded into the urban t-shirt market. Like most of my projects, it’s been a bit of an experiment, but pretty cool at the same time.
COLLECTIONS
To set the scene, there are two key elements that run through all JEM clothing collections:
* First off, we use recycled fabrics and materials. It’s what I like to call breathing new life into the old!
* Secondly, we believe in fashion for positive change. Through our lines, we therefore try to draw attention
to the work of charitable organisations and good causes.
